子曰：〝君子和而不同，小人同而不和。〞

孔子说：〝君子相处和谐而不拉派结党，小人结党拉派却不能和谐相处。〞

 

【English Translation】

Confucius said: "A gentleman is accommodating, lives with others and does not form cliques. Common people form cliques but do not necessarily live in harmony. "
