子曰：〝好勇疾貧，亂也。人而不仁，疾之已甚，亂也。〞

孔子說：〝喜好勇武而又不安於貧困的人，是一種禍害。做人不懂仁德的人，如不能加以因勢利導，也是一種禍害。〞

【English Translation】

Confucius said: "Those who are fond of showing their courage and are not contented with poverty, are prone to rebelling. Those without benevolence, if not well guided, will also create anarchy."
