子曰：〝論篤是與，君子者乎？色莊者乎？〞

孔子說：〝說話誠實的人就該讚揚，但要區分他究竟是君子呢？還是裝作莊重的人呢？〞

"Confucius said: "Before praising people with earnest arguments, examine closely to see if they are really proper gentlemen or if everything is just a pretence. "
